Mental Health & Wellbeing

Through the NDIS Psychosocial Recovery Program, our Psychosocial Recovery Coaches work with you to navigate the services and strategies that support mental health recovery.

Our recovery coach will

  • get to know you and understand your needs and recovery goals

  • work in collaboration with your trusted support network, including family and carers

  • support you to design, plan and implement a recovery plan

  • help you to access and coordinate community and mental health services that support your recovery journey

  • assist with the coordination of NDIS and other supports

  • help you to overcome recovery challenges and set backs.

Our Recovery Coaches are NDIS funded and trained in mental health. They have experience in areas such as psychosocial disability, trauma-informed care, family and carer inclusive practice, and cultural competency. Some have lived experience of the recovery journey, and this helps to inform their work.

The recovery coaches’ program has been developed in consultation with people with lived experience of mental health issues, their families and carers, Mental Health Australia and state and territory governments.

“For many people recovery is about regaining control of their identity and life, having hope for their life, and living a life that has meaning for them whether that be through work, relationships, spirituality, community engagement or some or all of these.”
